Christmas: Give from the Heart 32
During the holiday season, many tend to focus on spending money and buying the ‘perfect gift’, or even buying gifts just for the sake of buying gifts. This short video, through the innocence of a child, allows us to reflect on what is important in life. The act of creating and giving a ‘homemade’ gift helps us realize that Christmas is about more than consumerism. The main message: give from the heart!
The video above was one which I made from scratch in high school. Through this project, Mr. Fujiwara allowed me to realize that the proper amount of time put into planning, story-boarding and modifying the story pays off in the overall production. While this is not a perfect, final edit, it is definitely an important piece in my portfolio.
