I think people don't realize the homeless are people too who are trying to make their way through their own lives, just like us

I always get confused in those situations. I become very conflicted with the differentiating attitudes. "Is he going to make good use of this dollar? or is this going towards his Addiction fund?" Each person has been brought into the "City Life" by various backgrounds which mold mentalities and perspectives on the environment around them. I know those who will snub homeless people commenting on their idiotic inability to get a job or their lack of strength to fight harmful desires..I also know those who will give two dollars instead of one and will have faith in their receivers power to turn their lives around and make the right choice. We are only human, and like that older man, need to make a decision.
